Iwona (Sonia Bohosiewicz) and Kamil (Jacek Beler) seem to live worlds apart. She is married, but bored and unhappy with her middle-class, credit-fuelled life of luxury. He tries to earn a living writing rap lyrics, lives in his mother’s apartment and is in on-and-off relationship with Aneta (Magdalena Koleśnik). When their paths cross, Iwona and Kamil will begin to see everything around them in a different light. An award-winning rap opera adapted from Dorota Masłowska’s novel of the same name, Other People shows the author’s peculiar idiosyncratic vision of an increasingly atomised society. The film features adult content, including sex and violence, and is not suitable for younger viewers.
